Terms of Sale

PAYMENT

Payment in full is required prior to shipping. Items should (at buyers discretion) be shipped insured for the full purchase price unless otherwise stated, or the purchaser requests shipping modifications/special shipping.

SHIPPING

Shipping/handling/packaging is free of charge for each item, however, Insurance is extra and for the purchaser's account, unless modified by prior agreement. FEDEX Insured /3 days shipping or quicker is the sellers preferred method of shipment, however, the buyer can modify the shipping company as they see fit (may mean additional expense). Photos of the items during packing, the final package, and all tracking/insurance/shipping receipt copies will be provided to the purchaser when the item ships. Upon receipt and acceptance of the item, original receipts will be mailed free of charge, if requested.

DAMAGE/LOSS IN TRANSIT

In the event of damage/loss during shipment, the purchaser shall take up the matter with the shipping company since the purchaser has decided on the level of insurance. If required, the seller will assist the purchaser in filing any claim and provide all the shipping documentation as requested. The seller is strongly advised to take out full insurance cover as no liability will be accepted by the seller unless due to negligence.

RETURNS

Return shipment costs, including insurance, are for the buyers account. Original shipping costs will not be refunded in the event of a return, and a 5% handling fee will be deducted from the final purchase price to cover handling, packing and original shipping to the potential buyer. If any item is returned damaged, then a deduction to cover repair will be made from the refund amount at the sole discretion of the seller.

CONDITION

All items sold are sold in good faith. Each item is guaranteed genuine, and as described. Being antique in nature, items will have wear and tear appropriate to their age. Any flaws/damage/defects not in line with the age of the item will be detailed prior to any sale. The purchaser should satisfy themselves fully that they are happy with the condition of the item they are purchasing prior to shipment to avoid unnecessary costs to both parties.

LIABILITY

Whilst every effort is made to ensure a safe and satisfactory transit of the item, the seller accepts no liability for loss/damage in transit (hence the buyers agreement to decide on the postal service and to pay the insurance). I have not lost a sword/armour to date and none have been damaged. Adequate packaging and a rapid transit time are all important.

TERMS - PDF BOOK

The PDF version of my book is sold as is and is non-refundable. The work is a PDF document that requires the reader to have a suitable PDF viewer installed on their computer to view the document and images. If the buyer loses their original download/changes computer, another may be requested from the seller in writing, who has sole discretion. The buyer agrees not to make copies of the work, nor give/loan the work to any other person or entity, and any breech makes the buyer liable under US Copyright Laws. Images and text may not be copied or used in other presentations or work of any nature without the prior approval of the author.
